<We want to rehabilitate the middle east and we want a stable supply of oil> Japan invaded its neighbors in WWII in "self-defense" to secure strategic resources -- nothing wrong with that -- right? As for rehabilitating the middle east, I was unaware that we had been appointed custodians of the middle east -- it was nice enough of us to send our army to the middle east to invade other countries. So very generous of us.
