It seems to me that there are many more Christians who would ask for your shirt but not be willing to give there own. And how could that work in todays times. In a communal Christian community? I have seen plenty of Christians who were really just users. Probably because they were users before they were saved and never were renewed by the experience. Did Jesus mean to give your shirt to non-Christians, not Christians? That would make more sense to me.
