That's what drives the current economic prosperity in South Africa - sound economic policies, respect for human rights, compassion for the less fortunate and respect for the private sector engines that deliver real jobs and growth.

Even though job creation is lagging far behind where most South Africans would like, there is no doubt that they have done an amazing job building a new country in the last ten years.

For an opposite example, just look north to Mugabe in Zimbabwe, who embodies all of the worst traits that keep most of Africa in such a horrible state.
