It makes me laugh to see Steve's "rights" defended here. Wait until the whole story comes out.

Let me repost a little snippet from a post I wrote on an AOL board:

As for the olive branch - I don't particularly want any enemies. And I've steered clear of him ever since I wrote him that letter. But now, when I see him lionized by misguided bleeding hearts as some sort of cyber Larry Flint, I just thought I'd speak up. It's a free country, right?

As for forwarding private mail - I've got a nice letter from Steve where he explicitly describes the financial interest he had in disparaging Premier. Even though he feels free to violate MY privacy by forwarding you my letter, I think I will keep his letter private. If he's polite. Or unless I'm subpoenaed :)
