Dont guess so much. You wont find perfect wars Ed where all soldiers are protected 100% and all leaders are never diverted from soldier protection for other strategic or tactical matters. You can only try to fix it whenever it breaks OR you should be what your heart is perhaps telling you, a pacifist.
