If it is slow then no one will recognize it as a crash. The powers that be will dress it up. " The landing in 05 " or some such. Every one will marvel at the sensible pullback that occured and that the market did not lose any value, "The market just returned to a fair value." When the PE ratios on the DOW hit 4 : 1 we will have a clear signal that the market has oversold.
