Tom,

From the AOL Motley Fool PLSIA board:

RD, I think you will find this is the PLSIA board not ILT -- please try to answer these isssues from my overview,,,,

BTW -- if the stock goes up or down -- I don't presently care.

The following can be used to determine what position to take in the future. I may short PLSIA -- in the future -- if I discover the status of shares issued to EyeSys for outstanding debt, as I suspect those shares will hit the market as soon as salable.

Delay In Shipping Lasers -- PROBLEM?

Friday, 7/25 PLSIA "Sales Staff" indicated there were no users other than trainers who had received the Dental Drill. Earlier PLSIA news releases indicate shipping to start in May? Apparently only training laser ship so far. Furthermore "Sales Staff" at PLSIA indicated no customers would receive the drill until mid to late August -- if then. To confirm, call and ask to speak to 5 installed users <besides trainers who are reportedly only persons who have lasers> to get their feeling on use of drill in their practice. >>

From the recent PLSIA 10-Q:

<< ...Because of the timing of the FDA clearance to market in mid-May, and the need to train dentists prior to shipment of systems, the actual numbers of Centauri hard-tissue dental systems shipped to customers during the June 1997 quarter was nine; the other seven systems manufactured were allocated to demonstration units in various locations."

Again, there were NINE LASERS SHIPPED TO USERS in the quarter ended June 30,1997.

Of course, Steve will tell you he was "misinformed".

I challenge him to provide the name(s) of the Premier Laser "sales staff" employee(s) who gave him this "misinformation".

Who's hyping now?

Man, I love this. :)

Louis
