As an engineer, I know chaos theory well, but if the poles are 5 degrees warmer ( a fictional extreme figure, however some global warming theorist say a 4 degree rise through this century) through global warming, it is IMPOSSIBLE to have conditions of new record cold temperatures via a polar express dipping into the US. The mean temperature as a whole will rise on both end extremes hot and cold. Nice try.
