"it is IMPOSSIBLE to have conditions of new record cold temperatures via a polar express dipping into the US."

Not the case. As an engineer, you should realize that mean doesn't imply a uniform temperature increase. For example, day time temps. haven't increased all that much over the past century, but night time temps. have. In addition, polar winters are in continual dark. So if there isn't any cloud cover, they are going to radiate their heat despite any greenhouse effect. The CO2 or methane will slow it down, but it can't be stopped.

As an engineer, you should be a little more careful with your use of the word 'impossible', especially if it is all in caps.
