We were talking about being PC, and that perhaps the word Christmas was being "downsized or outsourced or totally discarded" (my words)..... The reason I brought up Hitler, is that he too, started small....by not allowing other religions, or other views, and was definitely not respectful of others...From there, we all know where he went....Millions of people, all religions, were killed, because he didn't like what the people represented.....
It is my view that Americans, and wishfully, all people everywhere, respect others views. America represents religious views of people from every region on earth. I don't believe we should deny anyone's views....but rather add them to the mix of views.
For all I care, we could have a representation (icon or sign, etc) anyone wanted to present, and put in the town square... |
