It's not about Kerry though I do agree that his fate was sealed when he tried to be a "me too" candidate.

All Democrats who tried to be "Bush Lite" have had their butts handed to them. We don't want a substitute, we want an alternative. Genuine class-acts like Russ Feingold in Wisconsin won comfortably, whereas Kerry barely managed to scrape out a win there.

Anyways, I was talking about the soldiers who applaud Bush. I have no sympathies for them if they face hardships in Iraq.
