Dwight; I suspect part of the problem might be the pipe size. Sometimes the Applets save time, as once operating they do a useful thing, like a graph/stock lookup. But most of the time they just make motions and banner flickers etc, which I could do without. Just rtun off the Java in your browser options and compare things. The you will see the true speed and can the assess the java issue better. It looks like the Java stuff is failing to get a big following. The Marimba programs eems to be one good item, but where are the 1000s we had touted to us?? I do not count a changing banner as a real ap. Bill
