CNH Holdings Company dba Cistera Networks; Products to Be Supported by Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC)
DALLAS, Dec 22, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- CNH Holdings Company dba Cistera Networks (CNHC) announced today that two of its most popular applications have successfully completed the Cisco AVVID (Architecture for Voice, Video and Integrated Data) Partner Program Interoperability Verification Testing (IVT) for Cisco CallManager 4.0. Only those products that have passed extensive third-party interoperability testing are awarded AVVID certification and can display the Cisco Compatible logo. Cistera Networks provides platforms and advanced IP phone applications that facilitate the convergence of voice, video and data in a Cisco IP Telephony environment.

The company's flagship product is the Cistera Convergence Server(TM) (CCS(TM)), an affordable, reliable network appliance that serves as a gateway to Cisco's CallManager(TM) for applications that enhance productivity and extend the capabilities of the IP phone network. The CCS(TM) has the industry's broadest suite of integrated applications, and can also host authorized third-party applications such as AAC Inc.'s PhoneTop(R) Applications and Vytek's timecard solution. Two of Cistera's most requested applications, QuickRecord and RapidBroadcast(TM), were certified in the recently conducted IVT evaluation.

The Cisco AVVID Partner Program sets criteria for interoperability testing by independent third parties and provides enterprise customers with information regarding Cisco AVVID Partner products and services that have been tested and verified to be compatible with Cisco networking technology. The Cistera applications have met Cisco AVVID Partner Program interoperability verification testing (IVT) requirements for Cisco CallManager 3.3 and CallManager 4.0. Cisco CallManager(TM), the software-based call-processing component of Cisco AVVID, extends enterprise telephony features and capabilities to packet telephony network devices such as IP phones, media processing devices, voice-over-IP (VoIP) gateways, and multimedia applications.

"Achieving Interoperability Verification is a critical step for us, as it means that the Cistera solution is a configuration supported by Cisco's Technical Assistance Center (TAC)," stated Derek P. Downs, president and CEO of Cistera Networks. "This ensures that our customers receive a fully integrated solution and a unified customer support effort between Cisco and Cistera."
