You silly racists always misunderstand a generalisation, a statistical analysis, a collective result.

Spehres, you should NOT at all expect to do okay because of your Italian lineage. It's only in the collective that they do well. Picking one of a group at random, when the overlap of groups is so large, gives only a better than average chance of getting a good one.

For example, half the people in prison are Maoris, so they have twice the crime rate leading to prison [or more accurately their conviction rate giving a sentence of prison, because they are perhaps gaoled very infrequently and maybe their crime rate is much higher, or possibly lower]. But because somebody is Maori, doesn't mean we should assume they are therefore a criminal, or even particularly likely to be so, because the number of Maoris in prison is a small proportion.

It is racist to expect a group characteristic is conferred on an individual and treat them as though they have that characteristic [unless of course it is specific to their race such as a particular genetic sequence which actually defines that race].

So you shouldn't expect that you are a mafia man just because you are Italian-derived. Nor should you expect to be necessarily a good pizza cook or great Romeo.

I'm sorry to disabuse you of your notions of incipient wealth, but we must fight racism where ever we find it.
