Russ: My experience with Farallon and the Mexican legal system
is that the one " universal " you can count on is the stunning inefficiency and complexity of their courts which allows for endless appeals through a multitude of different courts. Farallon was pursued for years, different courts, different appeals and slow slow rulings from someone who had no case and was able to appeal prior rulings when he had entered NO EVIDENCE at trial. That situation took around 7 years. How long has this already been going on and how long can it continue to go on? The merits of the case are not an issue, it is the ability of the vexatious to obstruct the company's progress through an archaic and complicated Mexican legal system. It is bad enough in U.S. and Canadian court systems but sheer madness in Mexico. This could resolve itself quickly or not but it becomes a huge wild card to base an investment decision on.

Regards,
Ogi
