YUKOS still rails oil to China

RBC, 22.12.2004, Moscow 13:58:08.YUKOS will deliver 280,000 tons of oil to China by rail next month, Russian Railways Vice President Salman Babayev told journalists. LUKoil had applied to carry 240,000 tons of oil to China and Sibneft would send 30,000 tons by rail in January, he added.

Russian Railways President Gennady Fadeyev said trains would take around 10 million tons of oil to China next year, the capacity of China's track system. Thirty million tons would be shipped by between 2007 and 2008.
