On the other hand, the idea of plane crashes bringing down the skyscrapers is quite unbelievable. The huge explosions that were seen were attributed to high explosives going off at the time of impact. This has fueled speculation that the high explosives were already on board or were wired within the building at an earlier time. It is generally believed that the fuel in the fuel tanks of the jets was incapable of causing the kind of explosions that were observed!

I guess reported observations of elevator cables and wires within the tower being tampered with have also fuelled
speculation that explosives were wired to be set off by, say,
vibrations (that could trigger switches) at the time of impact.

About a year ago, someone or some entity posted photographs (seen on rense.com) that purported to show the planes firing
missiles into the buildings shortly before impact. Oddly enough, there was no government comment. Nor from any other
group.

Of all the plane crashes on 9/11 it was only the crash of the plane (intended for the White House) into a field in Pennsylvania that caused a seismometer to register significant readings. Could there have been a particularly huge load of high explosives on this White House-bound plane???
