If you used this thread, and others at S.I., as an information source/base rather than whatever the hell it is that you do (screech, whine, charge!?), you'd have known it as well. Many at S.I. have surveyed the medical literature and industry rags for years. We share information, here.
Topol is outraged? Wow, news. FDA needs more money for post-market surveillance? Wow, news. Vioxx had pending issues re. risk/benefit, given that it was prescribed for chronic diseases and that an alternative was available? Wow, news.

Some SI biofreaks from early years have long ago moved on to industry positions from graduate work or postdocs. Some have moved from those positions to senior management slots. Some of the original gang, senior managers, are still contributing. Etc., etc.
All of this stuff is new to you, but it's all splayed out here at S.I. and in trade publications. You just have no respect for the forum in which you participate, and it continues to show. |
