Statistic came from CNBC. Was said to include all "working" adults. They though did not define the terms working or adult.It was once said, "I don't make(or even understand) the numbers,only report them". I do suspect stock market exposure is close to that 48% number(of total pop.). The other number that scared me half to death was that over 1/4 of all mutual funds carry a "hedged" or margin position. I know of people who are buying(or have bought) mutuals funds with borrowed money! this is at least 2 levels it could crash through! Be afraid. Be Very Afraid!!! luck richard
