I'll guess we'll know who the "dumbass" is when the elections are over. After all, if they're fighting to disrupt the elections then I guess the violence will lesson in the months afterwards. If they're fighting for political reasons and nationalistic reasons that have to do with getting us out and getting on with their own civil war, then the violence will simply continue.

Or are you really so obtuse that you believe that somehow an imperfect and probably rigged election will magically "cure" Iraq of intolerance, religious radicalism, secular strife and hatred of American aggression. Ed
