Ted, Has your accent changed? Californians don't have a distinctive accent. S. CA doesn't sound like N. CA. There is a slight twang to their voices. They have to be native though. After a while, you will notice the difference. The only truly accentless people are in Iowa, S. Minnesota....that general area. Did you pick up an upstate NY accent when you went to Cornell?
