Dave, i'd like to ask you a question. for me it is just subjective, but for you it might be empirical.

i've noticed fewer posts on the boards since you scaled back the batch reads from 100 to 10 for non-premium members. can you confirm this?

and if it is true, then possibly it is because it takes longer to read a given number of posts and therefore there is less time to write posts. not that i mind.. i actually like having to wade through fewer posts.

i'm just wondering if you can confirm and what you think the reason may be (if there reason has been a slow down in posting).
