I thought that it might interest you to know that Sports Illustrated polled 625 professional athletes ( from baseball, basketball and football) and asked them which athletes they would pay to watch. Vick led Favre 39 to 17.

Pros would pay to see Woods

Published December 22, 2004

Professional athletes are sports fans too, but if they didn't get into most events for free, whom among their peers would they pay to watch? That's the question Sports Illustrated posed to 625 pros from baseball, basketball and football. Although Tiger Woods lost his No. 1 world ranking, he was the man the pros would pay to see, receiving 12 percent of the votes (75), which is not exactly Jordanesque--especially since Michael Jordan (17 votes) was in the top 10 despite being retired. Others in the top 10 (with their votes): Barry Bonds (60), Shaquille O'Neal (58), Michael Vick (39), Serena Williams (27), Mike Tyson (20), LeBron James (19), Brett Favre and Jordan (17) and Kevin Garnett and Lance Armstrong (15).
