Well, first you get a 24-bit recti-linear A-->D convertor, run the output through a Nyquist-balanced amplitude normalization step-down processor, re-format the raw file into an asymmetric stream with parametric adjustment for bit and frequency preferences, ..... Oh heck, just slap the CD into your drive, launch a software tool ... I-Tunes is easy and great, but one of many. Two mouse clicks, spin your heels, have coffee. "the guy at the store said I had to go to iTunes and do some handstands and cartwheels to get my CDs into the ipod."
