"The Red States" are convinced that Dubya is keeping us safe...Bin Laden knows we are distracted (and bogged down) over in Iraq and something like the Bird Flu could hit The United States hard - very hard....Our country tends to react to things AFTER they become big problems (just look at how our FDA handles medications that should have been monitored more carefully and removed from the market years ago).
