Re: AQ attack on the US - this would have to pretty big or multiple locations to to really hit. A bunch of turkeys with AK-47s shooting up some shopping centers won't do much. Chemical attacks are hard to make work - See Aum Sinriko in crowded subways with minimal effects. Nuclear dirty bombs - more fear than threat Move away quickly and shower off....then support for radiation exposure. Really intense radiation sources will show up like a lighthouse on sensors. Biologicals are the wild cards - but the US has lot of medical facilites, and a large biotech industry. Bird flu scares me a lot more. ********* I can see an attack, a small market dip then a reversion to mean. ********* Bond and USD dollar threats are more important in my view.
