Snow, sounds like a plan, except the name "Needles and Pins" is no good<g>. It sounds like "Needles and Pains"<g>, which will definitely scare people away<g>

Good acupuncture "plays"? Don't even think about it. The principel of acupuncture does not go with market economy and maximum profitability<g>. It can never become a production line<g>

Seriously, one major reason acupuncture won't be popular in the US is that almost no insurance covers the treatment. At $50-60/hour, how many people can afford it? Even though a couple of pills cost just as much, if not more, the insurance covers it. On top of that, the big boys (big drug companies) want to keep all the profit to themselves, they would never ever let alternative treatment become popular in the US, even though a lot of herbs and alternative treatment are just as effective and have less side effect.

I heard so often that the advocates for big drug companies claim herb medicines are not tested, have side effect, blah, blah... But their side effect is nothing comparing to a lot of FDA approved western medicine pills.

Actually, MSM works like wonders for arthritic pain. A friend of mine tried it (she was on Vioxx before), and now she can play an entire badminton game (>2 hrs.) without feeling any pain in her knees. I take it too, but just for increasing my energy<g>. It cured my allergy completely.
