An autopen is a mechanical arm that actually holds a pen and is programmed to sign letters with a particular person's precise signature. Imagine a President Al Gore, with slightly more personality, signing all official government letters – that's an autopen. (You can relax now, there will be no more exercises imagining a President Al Gore.) This was a real laugh out loud paragraph! By the way, I sent a couple of e mails to a select few REPUBLICAN Senators, who forgot that the President got a mandate this time around, and it's not their place to bash him or Rumsfeld. I'll give you a hint as to who they were...one's first name was Trent.
