Accupunture:

My WA Blue Cross covers 12 visits per family memebr p.a.

After that $45 for a 1hr (usually runs 75 min) session.

I have been going two years and have had at least as much benefit as prescription meds for nerve pain. The meds don't work but accupuncture isn't covered. You're right-the system is messed up. A friend took supplements and cured a hip problem that would have required bilateral replacement at a cost of $20,000+ to the HMO.

The supplements aren't covered but the surgery is...

People shouldn't have to wonder why medical premiums are so high!
