I posted this statement gleaned from where now I don't remember as it was on December 12th.

My thinking was and is that it would be wonderful if we had not had to go to war at anytime except to defend our own borders.. With regard to Pearl Harbor, our borders were attacked.

One wonders how the rest of the world would have fared had we not gone in every time but to answer your question which I have all ready addressed to others who asked the same thing,NO... it would have been impossible. But, one can dream can't one ?
