First, I'm not a Republican. Second of all, we have laws in this country and a proper way to change laws which one finds to be unjust or not in the best interest of most people. If everyone decided to only respect those laws that they personally found to be fair we'd have chaos. As much as you might disagree with the actions of the president, he acted within the law and the air traffic controllers did not. Some have argued that jobs that lay within the realm of public safety should not have the right to strike in a labor dispute, the law has little to do with union busting. If you find this to be an unjust law, then you have every right to work to change that law. What you don't have, is a legal right to simply ignore the law even if you feel morally justified.
