carreraspyder,
As always, I continue to appreciate your DD and keeping us all informed on current events at NTOP and IDT. Unlike others, who may believe that you are posting to yourself, let me reassure you that I read all of your timely posts, and benefit greatly from them. As you know, I travel often out of country these days, and your posts are the only inputs that assure me that I am kept up to date.
Regarding your last post however, I interpret the SEC filing by Time Warner as not a new purchase of 3.1% of the outstanding NTOP shares, but rather a transfer of these shares from AOL's books to the parent, Time Warner's. Please reread the filing and let me know if I am interpreting this correctly.
Although, I lightened up some on both my NTOP and IDTC holdings during this past summer, I continue to "keep the faith" that someday soon we will be rewarded for our patience. With Malone now taking a larger position in IDT Class B, I believe he will soon realize that he can get a better deal by converting his Class B shares into IDTC on the open market. As you know, if he did, he would get 10 times the voting rights in IDT, and a current premium of $.80, with no sacrifice of any benefits. In the last several months I have completed doing same, and recommend that others consider doing this also. Best Regards, Jules |
