You know, I really don't understand wtf the fuss is all about ... guy steals Russia's oil assets, Putin steals them back, big deal.

As for American investors getting hurt, I can't see what's different here from Bre-X or Enron ... there's always some country risk when you're dealing with corrupt regimes.
