Frankly, as a matter of actual reality, any of us CAN post anything we want, even if it violates Terms of Use, or the laws of our nation.

In making statements to an audience, we expose ourselves to the long arm of the law, whether it be SI monitors, our country's civil and criminal courts or the SEC.

In my opinion, the language of The Westergaard Reward implies to any reader that the subject of The Reward has committed criminal behaviour.

This allegation is further cemented by Westergaard's claim that he has found The Smoking Gun.

To this observer, Westergaard has fashioned his own noose and placed his head into it with his eyes open. I wouldn't be surprised if his next utterance would be the one that releases the trap door!

(These discussions show significant thoughtful debate about the nature of this gem of a democracy we live under. I hope that kids studying civics and ethics consider this piece of history-in-the-making and use its vitality to bring immediacy to their coursework.)
