Great information in that article, Ionesco. I learned quite a bit. Thanks for posting it. I think the idea of Christians celebrating Christmas on Jesus' actual birthday would be an excellent idea. Then they could have the holiday all to themselves, and it would not be perverted by consumerism, and they could sing as many carols in their churches and Christian schools as they wanted to. Wasn't there an astronomy study that determined when Jesus was born according to where the stars were in the sky, and weren't sheep grazing? Which is a spring thing and summer thing.I would do some web research on it, but unfortunately I must go now and slay the sweet potatoes for Christmas dinner. It is so cold here I think it will snow. I must get the fat orange cat inside before he freezes.
