When I was 16 and driving my mother around on my temporary "Learner's Permit" in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mom was a back seat driver as you described yourself. She once screamed, "Watch out for that kid" (1/2 a block away going to a movie theater and my speed was about 20 to 25 mph. As I am frantically trying to find a kid to avoid and stop or avoid him, I rolled thru a just turned red light in the intersection we were crossing at the time. Fortunately, my Dad had connections downtown and the ticket never showed up on my record. Backseat drivers must be gagged and blindfolded and handcuffed in the backseat.
