The reason I posted to Nadine is because, as she regularly posts, it's unfortunately very common for Arabic news outlets to make the wildest, craziest allegations -- but what's worse is that they are commonly made in state-supported news outlets.

The most recent one was an allegation that Israelis were stealing the eyes from Palestinian children. We expect the Palestinians to do crazy stuff, but the eye-stealing allegation came from an Iranian state-run news outlet.

The audience is obviously poorly educated, and the intention is obviously to stir up hatred.

In the case of the organ-stealing article I just posted, the fact that it came from a Saudi supported news outlet is extremely troubling. The Saudis are supposed to be our allies. As are the Egyptians. It being Christmas eve, I am going to bite my tongue and leave it at that.
