One personal note on the JPM report....we have friends who wanted to buy MP3 players for their kids...but IPOD too expensive and, frankly, more than these kids needed in terms of a solid, basic player. they bought three Sandisk players instead. Their perception was that the Sandisk player was more "generic" and therefore more of what they were looking for as a first mp3 player.
