I ventured out late this morning for a midday Christmas Eve service. As I neared the church, it began snowing. Such an unusual sight for Houston. While stopped at a traffic light, a pretty young lady in a car next to me lowered her window and extended her hand skyward. Amazing how a flurry of ice crystals brought such a joyous and animated expression to her face. The high point of my observations during the Christmas service came when we were standing while holding lighted candles and singing Silent Night and an elderly couple near me looked at each other and kissed. A touching moment it was.
