Hi Chispas,

I do value your opinion with respect to economics and many other subjects. Economics is a new subject to me as is politics in many ways.

I did live in the USA for nearly a decade and just loved it there. I came across Larouche.org from reading the USA farmers alminac and quickly arrived at the conclusion that he was in charge of a political organization that was biased against Britains business influence in the USA, and Larouche was a powerful influence. Larouche went into political war with the Bushes, and well, my view is you get your friends and enemies you deserve, and Larouche proves my point.

But I still read anything I see on an internet search, Larouche included. Just wondering what you think of this..

Exemplary is the crucial role which Shultz played in August 1971, when he was Director of the Office of Management and the Budget for President Nixon. According to the first-hand testimony of then-Secretary of the Treasury John Connally (see box), members of a working committee on the economic crisis urged Connally to take the crucial step of removing the dollar from its link to gold. This was the first move toward establishing the floating exchange rate which has been used by the synarchists to destroy the world economy in the three decades since. The most forceful advocate of the move was Shultz, a devotee of the fascist free-market economist Milton Friedman.
