Carolyn,

So as not to be confused with spamming <g>, this is a repost from my earlier post to my friend, David Stockwell on the SIRI thread this morning:

Message 20888675

As for SIRI, I like the story behind the stock. As you know I normally don’t get caught up in fundamental data because I trade technically but I believe that both SIRI and XM are in a cutting edge market that is about to take off.

See the chart that I drew this morning of SIRI:

themarketwind.com

I chose to view it using Linear Regression Channels because that is how it has been trading. It has been trending in the upper half of the LRC and is currently tip toeing on the mid-line. (Labeled the “spaghetti patch” <g>”)

Note the stochastic oscillator position and how it has now recoiled back to where it likes to launch the stock back to the upper part of the Linear Regression Channel. William %R agrees that the trend is still up with room to move.

I suspect that an earnings run may be in order since we just passed the Christmas buying season. Next upper resistance is at $12.00.

The bounce is assuming that SIRI holds above the Linear Regression mid-line and we get a stochastic buy signal cross-over during the coming week.
