No. We'd boil him in oil. That would be AFTER the tar and feathering and riding him out of Washington on a rail.

But there are a few things be neglected here.

A lot more goes into party and political position choice than one incident or error. There are still Democrats who are still Democrats AFTER it has been conclusively proven that all the charges about him and Monica were true. Why didn't you all switch?

There are Democrats who were Democrats before and after Carter and his stunning foreign policy screw ups.

And the ME fanatics seemed to be getting the impression we were soft, easy targets who wouldn't shoot back. I think they are thoroughly cured of that delusion now. If so, this has been well worth it. I don't think that a country will allow the likes of OBL to operate on its soil again knowing the consequences.

And there are abandonments. You'll find few Nixon supporters these days. What you will find are far more Democratics still loyal to Slick Willie.
