re: I disagree with your way of using this "quote" out of context from Cordesman's NY Times contribution to support your personal liberal points of view, which he hardly shares. I'm not trying to trick anyone. I agree with his premise that the only way to "win" is to get even more aggressive than we are (and 50K+ civilians dead is not exactly pussy footing through a daisy field). And I agree that if we do that it will cost many more US lives. I know that it's not worth it, for Iraq or for us. If you think being against nation building is "liberal", then then you don't know what liberal and conservative mean. You can accuse me of being non-neo-conservative and I'll gladly accept that label. With pride. John
