After the earthquake, how quickly did the tsunami arrive at all the various countries and shores? There's a map on CNN.com demarking time. I think this is the link. cnn.com (I don't have flash installed in Firefox so I'm not sure and I'm too lazy to crank up IE to look for it. <g>) I think it took four or five hours to get to Africa and about an hour to Thailand. I once got to see the strange tides in Truro, Nova Scotia. When the tide is way, way out beyond the norm, you can't not notice. It just "feels" wrong.
