Heard of Evergreen Resources? NASDAQ:EVER ( evergreen-res.com ) EVER operates 170 oil & gas wells and focus on coalbed methane projects in the Raton Basin in Colorado. They hold 120,000 net acres in this Basin. In addition they have large projects in Falkland Islands, which Lickman considers a very prospective area, Chile and the UK. 9,412,000 s/o 52 week range US$5.50-13.50 (current $13.25) projected 1997 net earnings of $.39 per share & $.64 in 1998. Nearly US$80 million in (book value) assets There are currently 2 independent brokers giving EVER a "strong Buy" and 2 with moderate buy ratings. O that have a sell. Note: Lickman owns no shares in EVER but is considering. I think the chart on EVER is top heavy but may be a buy on a pull back. Any feedback?
