Hi Frank,

I think the spyware issue might go beyond the browser.

I have been using non IE browsers from day one. I also browse through an anonymous service. That hasn't prevented my system from picking up spyware when browsing unfamiliar sites - usually when I don't type in the correct URL and get redirected.

I use a couple of different spyware detectors in addition to NAV. Some of the stuff is tricky and writes itself to a different directory when you try to erase it. The only way I seem to be able to get rid of that is to use a govt security type disk wipe program.

I think this is scary stuff if you try to do secure transactions from your system.

Bottom line - I don't think the browser change is enough.

Happy New Year,

George D.
