Which side in this 'cultural' war is blinded by theocratic ideas? It sure looks like the Dems and their green friends are much as much into faith based belief than anyone in the Republican camp. Many of them are blaming the Indonesian Tsunami on Global Warming.

Until something better comes along, scientific method seems to be a terrific tool. There is good science, bad science, and everything in between. We will use scientific methods to determine what works and what does not.

The scientific method is in its infancy. It has been around for only a few thousand years. Cosmically speaking, that is no time. There is a lot of stuff we don't know anything about and science can not even begin to address it.

Until something better comes along, we are better off making an error on the safe side.

If the Greenies are wrong, it could be a costly mistake, but if the theocrats in the Republican party are wrong, we could go the way of the dinosaurs.

Do the math or wait for an higher authority to send us a faith based spread sheet?
