The current president has an awful mess, too, but is able to define a singular reality and so it they aren't *his* problems because they can't be if they doesn't exist. Except SS, evidently. The much more ominous and impending disaster of Medicare, a fire which he threw gas on last year with the pharmaceutical & hmo welfare boondoggle, doesn't seem to be on his radar at all. Borrowing to give people investments to lose on Wall Street is, however.
