Back when I was in high school my church wanted to have a debate about if evolution existed. Since I was a public school student I got the pro evolution side against the school science teacher. My position was that God had created but but way back, longer than the Bible says, then evolution has been taking place by the hand of God and nature. Boy, that went over well. I was lucky to get out of there alive and that was 40 years ago and some people still hate me.

On the way home my car shot craps. The next day I called my dad, who was in Florida, about the car and he had already heard about me being a heretic. Not one of my better winters.
