Furthermore, if the contention on this thread is that it would benefit the Republican cause to exclude people who must use PO boxes and mailbox businesses, I don't know if that's the case. Many people in rural locations must pick up their mail at central locations, and rural votes tend to go Republican.
I'm not rural, but that sounds reasonable. Nevertheless, a fair number would also show up on property tax rolls.

Also, moorage and boats are expensive, and it wouldn't surprise me if the majority of liveaboards who use mailbox franchises are Republican since traditionally speaking a majority of well-off people vote R., so it's hard to see what's actually being debated here.
You must move in a different group of liveaboards than I have seen. Here docking fees are less than trailer space fees and far less than apartment or house rent. And a houseboat costs less than a condo or townhouse.
